Is there an age restriction at Thai Oz Entertainment events?
Most of our concerts are held at licensed venues and are 18+ only. Specific age requirements are listed on each event page. Valid photo ID is required at the door for all 18+ events.

What is Isaan music?
Isaan music refers to the traditional and contemporary music of Thailand’s northeast region (Isaan), most famously the genres of mor lam (storytelling song) and luk thung (“child of the fields” — Thai country music). Mor lam features the khaen (bamboo mouth organ) and rapid-fire vocal storytelling; luk thung is a melodic country style. Read our full beginner’s guide to Isaan music.
Has Labanoon performed in Australia before?

Does Thai Oz Entertainment only book Thai-language artists?

Sydney’s Thai Community
Where is Sydney’s Thai Town?
Sydney’s Thai Town is centred on Campbell Street in Haymarket, with key intersections at George/Campbell, Pitt/Campbell, and Pitt/Goulburn streets. It was officially designated in 2013, making it only the second Thai Town in the world after Los Angeles. Thai is now the most spoken language in Haymarket, accounting for over 20% of the local linguistic landscape.
What annual Thai cultural events happen in Sydney?
The two largest annual events are Songkran (Thai New Year, celebrated in April) and the Lunar New Year Thaitown celebration in February. Both feature traditional Thai music, dance, food, and community gatherings in the Thai Town precinct. Throughout the year, Thai temples — including Wat Buddharangsee — host community events.
